We encourage you to ask a family member to be with you before and after your surgery.
Notify your surgeon if you develop a cold, fever, infection or if there is any other change in your condition. He or she may wish to reschedule your surgery.
If you have small children, we advise you to have someone supervise them all day, including several hours after you return home. You will need this time to rest.
Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their entire stay.
