We want your child’s visit to the center to be as pleasant and reassuring as possible. Parents should plan to stay with their child before and immediately after surgery.
It is not a good idea to bring other siblings with you that day. Your child will need your undivided attention as they experience surgery.
You may bring your child’s favorite small toy or blanket.
You should not drive home alone with your child. Arrange for another adult to drive you home.
